TOPIC: Trouble getting the number of files in a directory

Trouble getting the number of files in a directory 2 months 1 week ago #7621

I am creating a business process that will look in an archive folder and purge out all files that begin with "oracle".

Yes, I could just run a file system adapter with a delete after collect. BUT, I would like to send an email stating the total number of files purged. I am trying to retrieve the "DocumentCount" value (post FSA); but I am getting nothing.

How can I get the number of files collected by a FSA?

Here is the core content of my BPML.

<process name="default">
<sequence name="Sequence Start">
<assign name="Assign" to="FolderName">\\mffapo74\si\mff\archive\out\2017\05</assign>
<operation name="FSA-Collect">
<participant name="MFF_Standard_FSA"/>
<output message="FileSystemInputMessage">
<assign to="Action">FS_COLLECT</assign>
<assign to="collectionFolder" from="//ProcessData/FolderName/text()"></assign>
<assign to="collectMultiple">true</assign>
<assign to="collectMultiplePrefix">FSA_</assign>
<assign to="collectZeroByteFiles">true</assign>
<assign to="concatenateFiles">true</assign>
<assign to="deleteAfterCollect">false</assign>
<assign to="filter">oracle*</assign>
<assign to="genReport">true</assign>
<assign to="noFilesSetSuccess">true</assign>
<assign to="useSubFolders">true</assign>
<assign to="." from="*"></assign>
</output>
<input message="inmsg">
<assign to="." from="*"></assign>
</input>
</operation>

<assign name="Assign" to="DEBUG" from="concat('Pre Choice - FSA count is ', //FSA_DocumentCount/text())"></assign>
</sequence>
</process>

Never mind. Apparently I was using the wrong FSA. Issue resolved.
